On August 30, 1863, La Querendona, Trasnochadora y Morena was founded, which for six years was called Cartago Viejo and in 1869 it received the name of Villa de Pereira in honor of the lawyer Francisco Pereira Martínez.

Today, when Pereira celebrates 158 years of administrative life, a new work is added to the list of prides of the city. for me pereira is one of the best cities in colombia,since here you can do everything, itspeople are the best, they are very friendly and even family and even without knowing each other. in this city there is everything to do and the best is the culture
